B.      To date, we have misse= d 5 days due to weather/road conditions.  Three extra days were built into the school calendar for this purpos= e, so only two days must be made-up.  Mr. Stark recommends using May 23 & 24, 2011 as make-up days.  The next two make-up dates, if nee= ded, will be February 21 and May 25.  It was also noted that, due to days missed during 3rd quarter, mid-= quarter will be moved to February 9 and the end of 3rd quarter will be m= oved to March 11.

C.      Terry Wendel has asked permission to construct a system to aid in removing trash from un= der the bleachers.  Consensus to a= llow Terry to construct this system as he sees fit.

A.      Student enrollment is at 147.<= /p>

 

B.      Reviewed recent and upcoming events, as well as = the February calendar of activities. (attached)

 

C.      Discussed varsity invitational basketball tourna= ments, as well as non-conference games.  The teams competing in the Archie Tournament have become much larger than Ballard.  Consensus that = it would be good to participate instead in a tournament which includes schools closer to our size.

 

SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT

A.      Reviewed evaluation of the School Climate Progra= m as completed by John Siebeneck.  (attached)

 

B.      Discussed the February Board of Education Meetin= g.
