Mrs. Kershner Honored by Pittsburg State University

Once again this fall, Pitsco and PSU Athletics will recognize one Four States Area Educator during pre-game ceremonies at each of the Gorillas’ five (5) home football games at Carnie Smith Stadium.  A deserving teacher or administrator who has made a profound impact in the lives of his/her students, school and local community will be recognized.

Each individual who is selected as an “Educator of the Game” winner by the selection committee will be the invited guest of Pitsco and PSU Athletics to a specific home football game.  In addition to being honored before the game, the recipient, along with their nominator and two additional guests (recipient’s discretion), will receive complimentary seats at the football game. Additionally, Pitsco will make a $500 donation to the recipient’s school on behalf of the recipient and present the recipient with a recognition plaque.

Raelynn Kershner, math instructor for Ballard High school in Butler, MO, will receive be honored at this Saturday's game vs. Northwestern Oklahoma. Raelynn was nominated by Ballard Principal, Jimmie Barton, for her continued dedication and commitment to improving the quality of instruction at Ballard High School. Congratulations, Raelynn!
