Elementary Artists of the Month, December 2015
Launch the media gallery 1 playerEvery month Ms. Wirsig will pick a young artist from each grade, K-6, to be an “Artist of the Month.” These students show artistic skill, leadership, and good behavior in the art room.
This month’s winners are:
Kindergarten: Reese Shumate– Reese is always kind and respectful to everyone. She works hard and has really neat ideas. I always like seeing what Reese comes up with.
First: Maggie Foster– Maggie is wonderful to have in class. She is a leader and strives to create the very best artwork she possibly can. I am constantly impressed with Maggie’s artwork.
Second: Tory Snyder– Tory takes her time and makes sure every detail is perfect. She has unique, fun ideas and constantly surprises me with what she comes up with.
Third: Sam Setzer– Sam’s good attitude reflects in his artwork. His artwork is well-made and joyful.
Fourth: Lilly Rotert– Lilly is another student that is just fun to have in class. She is funny and has a creative mind. She adds little details to her artwork that I would have never thought to add.
Fifth: Jentry Bergman– Jentry is well behaved and works hard. His artwork shows his personality and he strives to do his best on every project.
Sixth: River Clark– River’s creations are uniquely River! He adds personal touches and details that make his artwork unique.
