Senior Night for Baseball & Softball

On Monday, April 25, 2016,  the Ballard Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs played their last home game of the season. For some of these fine young athletes, it was the last home game to ever be played in their hometown.

The senior girls include Sydney Berry, the daughter of Rodney and Jill Berry; Sabrina Walsh, daughter of Dan and Karla Walsh; and Darby Hill, daughter of Rick and Pam Hill. These ladies have helped make this season one of the best yet. There was never a joke told that Darby wouldn't laugh at, a rock on the field Sydney wouldn't throw, or an error made that Sabrina didn't say shoot. The time is coming closer, when we have to say goodbye, not just on the field but in the hallways. The Lady Bulldogs want to not only say goodbye but good luck; we will miss you all.

This year’s baseball team included all seven of the Senior boys, all of whom played an important role in team chemistry. T.J. SIckels would always lead by example giving 100% all the time. Jacob  Kennedy showed that it’s not just about winning; its about having fun. Tyler Kennedy demonstrated a lot of determination, as he never gave up. Mylan Murray brought the hard-core passion for baseball to the team. Kody Green showed just how much of an impact a high school sport can have on someone’s self confidence and attitude. Levi Meade brought the raw enthusiasm and energy to the playing field. Jacob Kroenke showed how hard work truly does pay off. These boys have taught their peers so many life lessons and made so many memories. We are so very proud of all of you.
