Coronavirus Update
March 30, 2020
Ballard Staff, Students, Parents and Families:
As the number of cases of coronavirus increases, many states, counties, and cities are issuing or extending stay-at-home orders/guidelines and precautions to help prevent and slow the spread of the disease.
Consistent with the stay-at-home order issued by Bates County, we are extending our school closure until further notice. The stay at home order at this time is until April 24th. If it should be lifted we may be able to resume earlier than that date. Our districts’ plans are to make the safety & health of our families the top priority.
Our plan for providing resources, links, activities, and ideas to help continue learning from home will continue through the duration of the stay at home order. Again, these are review and enrichment opportunities. As we near April 24, we will provide more information on how school will look moving forward.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Sincerely,
John Siebeneck Dustin Bridges
Superintendent Principal
