A. Reviewed plans, as previously approved, to construct a sidewalk on the north side of the build= ing. Plans are to complete this as soon= as possible.

NEW BUSINESS

A. Discussed replacement = of our T12 florescent light fixtures with T8 fixtures. Mr. Stark is collecting informatio= n and quotes.

B. Discussed planned make= -up days. It was previously appro= ved to use April 25 as a make-up day, but this will not be necessary if the board approves changing the 2010/2011 calendar from 177 to 174 days.

D. Discussed summer custo= dial help. Mr. Stark would like to employ two extra workers for summer cleaning and maintenance. Consensus to approve.

E. = Discussed tax rate est= imate for the 2011/2012 school year. This is non-binding, but is required under Senate Bill 711 starting this year. Mr. Stark recommends using levy am= ounts the same as in 2010/2011 for this estimate, as we have no updated informati= on.

&Oslas= h; Motion by Bob Kagarice= to approve the non-binding tax rate for 2011/2012 of $4.4425 for operations and $0.75 = for debt service, for a total estimated school district tax rate of $5.1925. Seconded by Eileen Parks.

C. Adrian Superintendent Eidson contacted Mr. Siebe= neck regarding the previously discussed possibility of a sports cooperative. He said at this time they are not interested in a co-op for high school football, but would be interested in = jr. high football.&n= bsp; Track was not mentioned. As the jr. high football season would conflict wit= h our jr. high conference basketball season, consensus to n= ot pursue this.

SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT

A. Reviewed evaluation of the At-Risk Program as completed by Rick Stark. (att= ached)

B. Reviewed evaluation of the Early Childhood/Paren= ts as Teachers Program as completed by Ginger Moore. (attached)
