Texting and Driving...IT CAN WAIT!

    Texting is increasingly becoming the way people communicate. In fact, in the 12 months ending December 2010, more than two trillion text messages were sent and received (or six billion per day) according to CTIA– The Wireless Association. Unfortunately, some people may be texting from behind the wheel of a moving vehicle.     Ballard students, teachers, and staff  are no different than other drivers. From the PTO President...   The 2011-2012 school year is now history! I would like to take a moment to say thank you to all who have helped make this year something to remember. I have enjoyed being your PTO President in many ways. Spending time at school with the students, seeing them waving and smiling at me in the halls, sharing a meal at the lunch table, and enjoying their field trips, has been priceless!! May 2012 Student of the Month

The Ballard R-II School District is pleased to be working in conjunction with the Adrian Optimist Club to honor a Student of the Month for the 2011-2012 school year. Student of the Month is selected by the staff of the Ballard R-II School District using the following criteria: attendance; attitude towards others and school; behavior; leadership; and improvement in or maintenance of good grades.
