We will have a regular PAT play date on April 24. On May 1, we will have a tricycle rodeo on the playground starting at 8:30. Everyone, bring your trike weather permitting. In case of rain, we will celebrate a great year in Parents as Teachers in Miss Kim's room without tricycles. See you Soon!

The Baseball game scheduled for April 8 at Bronaugh has been rescheduled to May 15.
The Baseball game scheduled for April 16 has been cancelled.
The make-up Baseball game at NEVC has been rescheduled to 4:30, May 1.

GVVC Conference Spelling Bee

                  On February, 25th Ballard held the annual Spelling Bee for its students. The top three students got to go on to the Conference Spelling Bee and compete with students from the five other schools in our conference. Bridge Building Honors

The Annual Bridge building contest of the Southwest Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers took place on Thursday, March 13, 2014 on the campus of MSSU in Joplin, Missouri. Science Teacher Mr. Hurst along with Kody Green and Mylan Murray took the bridges to be judged. Seventy–six students from 9 area high schools participated in the contest. Student of the Month March 2014

The Ballard R-II School District is pleased to be working in conjunction with the Adrian Optimist Club to honor a Student of the Month for the 2013-2014 school year. Student of the Month is selected by the staff of the Ballard R-II School District using the following criteria: attendance; attitude towards others and school; behavior; leadership; and improvement in or maintenance of good grades.
