Parents As Teachers Program

Parents As Teachers is an exciting program now being offered to families in the Ballard School District.  PAT offers information, support, encouragement and resources.  We have contracted with Heather Bridges to provide these services to our community. Who is this program for?   PAT serves families with children ranging in age from newborn to the start of kindergarten, and PAT can also help with prenatal. Student of the Month, September 2016

The Ballard R-II School District is pleased to be working in conjunction with the Adrian Optimist Club to honor a Student of the Month for the 2016-2017 School Year. Student of the Month is selected by the staff of the Ballard R-II School District using the following criteria: attendance, attitude towards others and school, behavior, leadership, and improvement in or maintenance of good grades. The Student of the Month for September is Senior Holly Tate, daughter of Troy and Jana Tate. Artists of the Month, September 2016

Every month Mrs. DesCombes will pick a young artist from each grade, K-6, to be an “Artist of the Month.” These students show artistic skill, leadership, and good behavior in the art room. This month’s winners are: Kindergarten, Aspyn Eidson  - Aspyn has a BIG imagination and a great attitude. First Grade, Owen Meade  - Owen has original ideas and is detail oriented. He gives his 100% effort every time. Second Grade, Ashton Siebeneck - Ashton is a great leader in the classroom.
