Artist of the Month, October 2015

Every month Ms. Wirsig will pick a young artist from each grade K-6 to be an “Artist of the Month.” These students show artistic skill, leadership, and good behavior in the art room.

The October winners are:

Kindergarten: Owen Meade– Owen takes his time and follows directions. He pays attention to the details. Great work, Owen!

First: Olivia Porter– Olivia is a natural artist. She has creative ideas and excels in every art project. Way to go, Olivia!

Second: Celia Campbell– Celia is not only an exceptional artist, but she is also patient, kind to others, and an all-around great student to have in class. Good job, Celia!

Third: Oakleigh Hill– Oakleigh LOVES art. She spends a lot of time on her artwork outside of school. Oakleigh has great ideas and gives her best effort on every art project. Way to go!

Fourth: Cade Callahan– Cade has been very interested in our Egyptian lesson. He is very knowledgeable about Egyptian history and is excited to work. He is doing a wonderful job. Great work, Cade!

Fifth: Daylyn Vermillion– Daylyn works hard and creates beautiful artwork. She is a pleasure to have in class. Good job, Daylyn!

Sixth: Ashton Carullo– Ashton is detail-oriented. She takes the time to make her artwork stand out instead of just doing the bare minimum. She goes above and beyond in the art room every single time. Great job, Ashton!
